Information for young dancers starting from 1.5 years of age.

Children’s Ballet Classes In Glen Ellyn

This division is for our young dance students, approximately 1.5 to 7 yrs old, who are ready to explore their love of dance and movement.

Classes are always fun but are also educational, structured, and learning-based. Our nurturing staff teaches ballet, rhythm, music, movement, coordination, and creativity.

Parent-Tot Creative Ballet

Ages 1½- 3

Parent-Tot Creative Ballet is a child and caregiver class that will lay a foundation for future dance training as well as boost coordination and child development, individually and socially.

Encouraging and experienced teachers always keep classes fun.

Parent-Tot Creative Ballet: Saturdays 9-9:30am

Pre-ballet 1

Ages 3-4 ½

Students enter the wonderful world of ballet and are encouraged to learn through play and imagination.

We keep classes fun while introducing our students to the foundations of ballet technique with the help of ‘Once Upon Ballet’, a curriculum specially developed for preschool-age dancers.

Pre-Ballet 1: Wednesdays 4:15pm – 5pm
Pre-Ballet 1: Saturdays 9:40am – 10:25am

Pre-ballet 2

Ages 5-7

Students continue to develop their understanding of ballet and dance with the help of the specially developed Once Upon Ballet curriculum.

Encouraging and experienced teachers always keep classes fun.

Pre-Ballet 2: Wednesdays 5:10pm – 6:10pm
Pre-Ballet 2: Saturdays 11:15am – 12:15pm

Tap 1

Ages 3-5½

Little dancers expand their skills in these fun and upbeat lessons.

We ensure students learn the right technique while moving to the music.

Tap 1: Saturdays 10:35-11:05am

Jazz/Tap 2

Ages 6-9

Students continue to work on rhythm, coordination and musicality in these fun and upbeat lessons

Encouraging and experienced teachers always keep classes fun.

Jazz/Tap 2: Saturday 12:30-1:30pm

Conditioning Class

Ages 6-9

This beginner conditioning class will complement the training of the dance student. The class is designed to increase range of motion, flexibility, alignment, balance, and strength.

Conditioning Class: Wednesdays 6:15-6:45pm
