Youth Company Video Audition Information
Audition video
- Your video must be less than 10 minutes in length
- Your video must be submitted as a Youtube link
- Only perform one side of each exercise
- Do not film into the mirror
- The entire dancer should be visible throughout the video (no close-ups).
- Include the components listed below:
- Barre Work
- Plié, Tendu, Adagio, Grand Battement
- Center Work
- Adagio, Pirouettes, Petit Allegro, Grand Allegro
- Men:
- Jumps, including tours en l’air and petit allegro with beats
- At least one turning combination
- Ladies:
- Include a classical variation on pointe
- Barre Work

Dancers currently enrolled at Alma Dance Youth Company or Alma Dance School Pre-Professional Division wishing to enroll in the Youth Company for its 2020-2021 season please fill out the form below. Please note that you will not need to submit a video audition to re-join the Youth Company for its 2020-2021. If you are not currently enrolled in Alma Dance Youth Company or in Alma’s Pre-Professional Division, but you recently did a trial class in the studio, please just complete and submit the form below. We will get in contact with you regarding enrollment information.
