Katrina Lochridge

Katrina Lochridge Green began dancing at 4 years old. After exploring several styles of dance, she began training in classical ballet at the age of 8 under Tatyana Mazur, Watmora Casey, Ernesto and Catalina Quenedit, and many others. While continuing her own ballet training, Katrina began shadowing her instructors and teaching the youngest ballet students at the age of 15. After a serious foot injury at 18, Katrina began studying at the College of DuPage where she received her Associate in Arts Degree with High Honors, and then began teaching full time.

Katrina continues to study ballet technique and learn about the development of our students. She cares deeply about each student’s individuality and unique talent. Beyond instilling proper technique and discipline and a love of ballet, she is sure to teach them how fun dancing is!

Over the past 15 years of teaching Katrina has taught and choreographed for numerous ballet schools, studios, companies and park districts throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as lead several volunteer performances. She now lives in West Chicago with her husband and two sons. Katrina is thrilled to call Alma her home studio and strives to introduce our youngest dancers to a lifelong love of ballet.
