Jenna Guzy

Jenna began her ballet training at three years old after seeing a performance of American Ballet Theater’s Swan Lake. Most of Jenna’s training took place at the Faubourg School of Ballet under Tatyana Mazur, Watmora Casey, Ernesto Quenedit, Vilma Machin, and many others.

While at Indiana University, Jenna trained under the Jacobs School’s world-renowned faculty, including Christian Claessens, Sasha and Rebecca Janes, and Sarah Wroth. During her senior year, she was invited to join the Jacobs Academy faculty as an assistant instructor. This experience refined her teaching skills and reignited her passion for teaching ballet.

During her years of training pre-professional, Jenna gained experience teaching ballet,  floor barre, and pre-pointe, classes. She also choreographed a variety of dances for her studio’s shows and some dances for her high school’s dance team. Over the years, she performed roles in the Nutcracker, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, Le Corsaire, Diana and Acteon, and many original choreographies.

Jenna competed in the Carey Rose Winski Competition where she received a scholarship for her contemporary choreography. She was also selected to choreograph a group dance to perform at the annual company showcase.

Jenna is excited to be part of the Alma Dance School team, where she will continue to share her passion for dance.
