Alma is a performing school, and all dancers will have the opportunity to participate in two annual productions. Whether you are looking to dance for pure enjoyment or have the dream of becoming a professional dancer, we have the perfect program for you.

The first step towards registering for classes at Alma is to attend a trial class. Dancers Attending a Trial Class: Dancers attending a trial class can wear any color leotard, tights and ballet slippers that they already own. If the dancer does not have any of these items, the dancer can wear anything that feels comfortable and allows them to move with freedom (T-shirt, leggings and socks are suitable). Our lobby area is very small! In order to avoid a crowded environment, we need to reserve this space for our dancers. Therefore, we will continue with our drop-off and pick-up policy. Parents of dancers ages 3-6 will be provided with a zoom link to observe their dancer while they participate in their in-person class.

We at ADS always focus on our number one concern: the safety of our students, families, and staff. Due to COVID-19, we are taking multiple precautions to keep everyone safe. Dancers, staff, and instructors are required to wear a mask at all times while inside the premises. Hand sanitizer is available in each dance room, and we have changed the layout of our lobby to encourage social distancing and help traffic control. In addition to our already high-cleaning standards, often-touched areas are sanitized frequently while dancers are present in the building.
